Marshall’s 40 Watt Dual Super Lead combo, the 1 x 12" DSL 401, is a compact, EL84 powered amplifier that won Guitar Player magazine’s coveted Editors Pick Award. It features two independent, footswitchable channels (Clean and Overdrive), separate Treble, Middle and Bass controls for both, a genuine Celestion speaker, a built-in spring Reverb, a parallel FX Loop with front panel FX Mix control and more. Guitar Player said it best in their July ’99 rave review: "Depending on how you set the highly interactive gain and volume controls, you can dial in anything from pert overdrive to perpetual sustain and beyond."
